This class is for everyone who wants to grow stronger. Compared to most strength building routines that grow stale when you go to the gym, this strength and conditioning class will give you the building blocks to grow stronger anytime, anywhere. We utilize a careful mixture of body calisthenics and plyometrics with a focus on gymnastic form to bring you a very accessible and challenging workout regimen.


Our body weight strength and conditioning classes focus on three main areas of training

Calisthenics – Derived from ancient Greek to mean “Beauty in Strength,” calisthenics is one of the earliest ways for mankind to develop strength. By taking advantage of a tool you’ll always have ready, we’re talking about your body, you’re always going to have the equipment you need to work out anywhere, any time. Our calisthenics routines are several steps above your normal push-up and sit-up routines. Flexing, bending, swinging, twisting and kicking in different poses will give every muscle a training session your body will remember for ages to come.

Plyometrics – Calisthenics takes care of beautiful slow twitch muscles, so it makes sense to mix it up with fast-twitch muscle routines. Enter: Plyometrics or Advanced Jump Training. The main focus with plyometrics is drilling and developing explosive movements. You’ll jump higher, run faster, and focus on gaining momentum throughout your movement. This is a great foundation for all of your cardiovascular training needs.

Gymnastics – Form leads to function when it comes to strength, and gymnastics form is a key component for all of the calisthenics poses and plyometric jumps. Knee driving, heel driving, locked core, body stacking, and more are all part of what are called “human kinematics.” We teach all of our practitioners why they can jump higher, and pose longer by making a key adjustments to help people better understand their bodies and how they move.

The Firestorm Family believes that through hard work, perseverance, and seeing obstacles as challenges to help you grow, each and every student can shape themselves into the Hero of their dreams.


This class is primarily for Adults. Younger students willing to listen well, follow the Coaches' directions, and work hard can try out this class on a trial basis.

what else will you learn?

The Strength class is here to make you work hard and grow stronger. But more importantly, each exercise is designed to teach you and help you understand how your own body moves and works. Our exercises are on spring floors and walls, high bars and jumping blocks. Our body weight movement exercises will cause you to increase your balance, hand-foot and hand eye coordination, agility, flexibility, and spatial awareness. Strength is so much more than just muscle and endurance. It comes from within. We just help bring it out.

Curriculum Cards and How to Rank Up: Students must master a set number of predetermined skills in order to "Rank Up" and move to more advanced classes.
