These all ages Tumbling classes focus on the basics and fundamentals of gymnastics tumbling. The training for proper body position and timing will develop the strength and flexibility to master the skills for gymnastics tumbling, from handstands and handsprings to back flips and layouts.

The three main aspects that create a great tumbler are the development of: flexibility, power, and body position.

Flexibility – Range of motion is key to every physical discipline, but especially so in tumbling. Many skills require a certain degree of flexibility in order to practice them. Every class begins with an emphasis on stretching.

Power – Power is important for connecting multiple tumbling skills in a tumbling pass. Power is generated from strength and proper timing. Our tumbling strength training draws from gymnastics, parkour, and cheer in order to build the muscles necessary to create power rebounds in tumbling.

Body Position  Power is nothing without control. Body position is what allows every practitioner to control the flow of power from one skill to the next. We emphasize proper gymnastics body positioning in order to create perfect control in our tumbling.

Learning how to control and combine these fundamental components of Tumbling will allow students to create amazing flip and tumbling combos. Our classes have a focus on basic tumbling skills to create a solid foundation in flipping. We teach rolls, handstands, cartwheels, handsprings, flips, layouts, and full twists. Watch this video to learn more!
